September 29th is the Feast of Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels. Because of the crucial role Gabriel played in the Annunciation, this is also the Secondary Patronal Feast Day of our Parish and School. In addition, Saint Gabriel is the Patron Saint of our Kindergarten Class.
On September 28th, our Kindergarten Class took an "Angel Tour" of our church in preparation for their Feast Day. On September 29th, students K-8 joined our parishioners at Morning Mass to celebrate the Feast. Condiments they had collected for the Saint George Food Pantry as their Fall Outreach Project were also blessed at this Mass, and then donated to the Food Pantry Director. Our Second Grade Class made Archangel Holy cards to distribute to parishioners, along with a piece of Angel Food Cake.
Our Preschoolers brought their donations for the Food Pantry to church at 9:00 a.m. to be blessed.
