Annunciation parishioners who are baptized Catholics and are at least 7 years of age by September 20, 2010 prepare for the sacraments of reconciliation and Eucharist (First Communion) in a community and family-centered, parish-based process, attended by both the child and his/her parents. Children must be prepared for the sacrament of reconciliation (penance) prior to being prepared for Eucharist. Parents of Catholic children who are enrolled in Annunciation Parish School should note that sacramental preparation does not take place in the school. Catholic children in the school need to register for family, parish-based sacramental preparation. Parents of Catholic children who are Annunciation parishioners should contact Dr. Sandra Chakeres at 861-1295 or faithformation@annunciationbvmparish.org to request registration materials for Annunciation Parish Family-Centered Sacramental Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. per child, payable to Annunciation Parish. The first gathering for Reconciliation Preparation will be Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
