Saint Lucy Feast Day Photo Gallery

December 13 is the Memorial of Saint Lucy, one of the Patron Saints of our second grade class at Annunciation School. You can learn more about Saint Lucy here. In anticipation of their Feast Day, our second graders made Lucia Crowns and Star Boy Hats. On December 13, with boys wearing their Star Boy Hats and carrying a star wand, and girls wearing their Lucia Crowns and a red sash and carrying candles, our second graders were part of our Entrance Procession at Morning Mass celebrating their Feast Day. Following Mass, they hosted a Saint Lucy Social for parishioners and parents.
Later that same morning, our fourth grade class joined our kindergarteners for a Saint Lucy celebration. Fourth graders shared a book they had written about Saint Lucy with the kindergartners, and then assisted them in making a Saint Lucy craft. "Saint Lucy" also served a snack to all students.
