A statue of Mary was recently donated to Annunciation Parish. This statue was blessed at our school's weekly celebration of Morning Prayer on December 2, 2010. It was then carried in procession from the church to the school, where it was enshrined in Mrs. Tucker's second grade classroom. During the Season of Advent, this statue will be our school Marian Pilgrimage Statue. It will be carried in procession from one classroom to the next, day by day, spending one day in each class, before returning to its new "home" in our second grade classroom. Like Mary, we are Advent Pilgrims journeying through the days to Christmas.
